Singer Hwanhee Breaks Down in Tears on 'Mr. House Husband 2' After Emotional Day with Mother

On the latest episode of KBS2TV's 'Mr. House Husband 2,' singer Hwanhee shared an emotional day with his mother, ending in tears.

Aired on the 2nd, the episode showcased Hwanhee preparing a 'full course of filial piety' for his mother as they plan to live together.

To create a special day, Hwanhee took charge of everything from gifts to meal preparation and even laundry, dubbing it a 'filial piety day.'

The day included a visit to a photo studio, as Hwanhee wanted to capture memories with his mother. Initially hesitant, his mother expressed, “I don’t like taking photos,” but eventually agreed to the shoot at her son's urging.

While Hwanhee stepped out briefly, his mother made an unexpected request to the photographer for a memorial portrait.

She explained, “My mother passed away a few days ago. Seeing her memorial photo, which was just an ID photo, broke my heart.”

She continued, “If something happens to me, there won’t be a memorial photo, and my sons will be caught off guard. I don’t have any solo photos, so I thought I should have one.”

Upon learning this, Hwanhee was visibly shocked, asking, “Why all of a sudden...?” Overwhelmed, he broke down in tears.

Witnessing her son's tears, his mother felt a heavy heart. She shared, “Hwanhee never cries. He gets upset but doesn’t cry. Seeing him cry made me feel so sorry and upset.”

In an interview with the production team, Hwanhee expressed, “I’m trying to create memories with my mom and help her, though I’m not perfect. I never imagined she was preparing for this (memorial photo). I didn’t think such a thing would happen,” he said, tearing up.
