Broadcaster Park So-young Expresses Gratitude to Yang Se-hyung on 'The Manager'

Broadcaster Park So-young expressed her gratitude to comedian Yang Se-hyung on the recent episode of MBC's 'The Manager'.

On the episode aired on the 2nd, Park So-young appeared with a noticeable change in her hairstyle, revealing that she had extensions added to her long hair.

Comedian Hong Hyun-hee teased Yang Se-hyung, asking how long it had been since they last met. Park So-young candidly shared that they had met the previous Monday at Daedunsan, a four-hour drive from Seoul, where they played a quiz game at the summit, and she rewarded him with acorns for answering correctly.

The show also gave a glimpse into Park So-young's daily life, showcasing her lively running routine. Makeup artist Jung Saem-mool humorously remarked, "You don't exercise much, do you?" Park So-young responded with laughter, "I do exercise, but people say my running form is strange when I participate in marathons."

The cast members joked about Yang Se-hyung's inability to take his eyes off Park So-young's VCR, with Jeon Hyun-moo teasing, "There's a bit of a 'big brother' vibe."

Jeon Jong-hwan, appearing as Park So-young's manager, highlighted her rising popularity, stating, "She's been very busy since 'The Manager'. Many places are calling for her." Jeon Hyun-moo humorously suggested that such popularity often leads to a freelance career in about three years.

Jeon Jong-hwan praised Park So-young's dedication to her current role as a baseball reporter, noting that despite her initial lack of knowledge in the field, she stayed up late to study and embraced the challenge with enthusiasm.

After returning from a four-month maternity leave, MBC anchor Kim Soo-ji inquired about Park So-young's personal connection with Yang Se-hyung and questioned whether the company was promoting her. Jeon Jong-hwan clarified, "It wasn't MBC pushing her; it was Yang Se-hyung who discovered her," to which Park So-young expressed her intention to thank him.
