Comedians Battle for Pay Raise in New MBC Variety Show 'The Best Mountain'

Comedians Yoo Se-yoon, Jang Dong-min, Heo Kyung-hwan, Boom, and Yang Se-hyung are set to engage in a fierce competition for a pay raise.

Premiering on the 3rd, MBC's new variety show 'The Best Mountain' is the first of its kind in Korea, featuring intense challenges in the mountains as participants vie for the top spot.

The first hike on 'The Best Mountain' will take contestants from Achasan to Yongmasan, with various missions along the way. The contestant who collects the most acorns will receive three benefits, including a 10% increase in appearance fees, a revelation that has sparked excitement and competitiveness among the members.

Yoo Se-yoon, the recipient of the '2025 MBC Entertainment Awards' Best Male Entertainer award, draws attention from the start with special treatment. While each participant receives five acorns to purchase hiking gear and snacks, Yoo Se-yoon is given an additional three acorns as a winner's advantage.

This leads to collective protests from the other members. Jang Dong-min exclaims, "That's an unfair starting point," while Heo Kyung-hwan questions, "When did he win the Best Entertainer award?" Yoo Se-yoon cheekily responds, "I was just born different."

'The Best Mountain,' which promises blatant favoritism from the first hike, will air its first episode at 6 PM.
