At the awards ceremony held on the 30th of last month, 'Rookie Director Kim Yeon-koung' won the TV Entertainment Program Award, with directors Kwon Rak-hee, Choi Yoon-young, and Lee Jae-woo receiving accolades for their work. Additionally, Kim Yeon-koung was honored with the TV Presenter Award, and Kwon Rak-hee received the PD of the Year Award.

The Korean PD Awards recognize producers and broadcasters who contribute to the advancement of free press and socio-cultural development through broadcasting. The judging process involves active participation from current producers.

It deeply portrays the individual stories of the players and the team's development, resonating with viewers and drawing them into the narrative.

Kim Yeon-koung's unique approach to team management, her rapport with the players, and the intense focus on matches have been praised for creating an immersive experience distinct from traditional sports variety shows. The program has also achieved remarkable success in terms of viewership and buzz, proving its competitive edge. This creative vision and execution have been recognized with the recent awards.

Kwon Rak-hee, who received the PD of the Year Award, stated, "This program was a journey where Director Kim Yeon-koung and the underdog players showed 'PROVE THEM WRONG' against biases."
