Bae Na-ra Joins Netflix Series 'Wonders' Amidst Rising Popularity
On the 27th, YY Entertainment announced, "Bae Na-ra has been cast in the Netflix series 'Wonders'." The series stars Park Eun-bin and Cha Eun-woo. Cha Eun-woo recently made headlines for settling a tax evasion controversy by paying 13 billion won.
'Wonders' is a supernatural comic adventure series set at the end of the century in 1999, where a group of neighborhood misfits accidentally gain superpowers and strive to protect the world from villains threatening peace.
In the series, Bae Na-ra plays Kim Pal-ho, a character who follows Ha Won-do (played by Son Hyun-joo), whom he considers a father, down a crooked path. Known for his distinctive and multi-dimensional acting in Netflix's 'D.P. Season 2' and 'Weak Hero Class 2', Bae Na-ra is expected to bring fresh charm to this role with his strong convictions.
Bae Na-ra left a strong impression on the public through 'D.P. Season 2'. He has since built a diverse portfolio with roles in 'Weak Hero Class 2', 'Your Taste', and 'Space Merry Me', showcasing his ability to portray contrasting characters and gaining widespread recognition.
Recently, he successfully concluded the musical 'Bonnie and Clyde', proving his solid presence across different genres. He also appeared on the variety show 'I Live Alone', where his down-to-earth and relatable charm won over viewers.
The Netflix series 'Wonders', featuring Bae Na-ra, will be released on May 15.
