Super Junior's Donghae and Eunhyuk Reveal Shocking Past with Big Bang and SM Entertainment
Super Junior's Donghae and Eunhyuk, who have embarked on their own path, candidly shared the harsh realities of their former agency, SM Entertainment, while also revealing a shocking past connection with Big Bang, showcasing their unique storytelling skills.

On Big Bang member Daesung's YouTube channel 'House Daesung,' a video titled 'My MP3 Still Plays Haru Haru and Sorry Sorry...' was uploaded.

In the video, Donghae and Eunhyuk, currently active as the unit D&E of Super Junior, appeared as guests and engaged in a lively conversation with Daesung.

While Donghae and Eunhyuk emphasized their identity as 'Super Junior,' they revealed their bittersweet situation regarding the use of practice rooms. Eunhyuk confessed that despite their partnership after leaving SM, "using SM's practice rooms for unit rehearsals is not allowed," and Donghae added with a wry smile, "As soon as we left the company, our fingerprint access was deleted, and the doors wouldn't open." Their mixed feelings about the changed practice environment after changing agencies brought laughter to the scene.

Particularly intriguing was Donghae's past connection with Big Bang's G-Dragon and Taeyang. Donghae recalled meeting them for the first time as a child at the invitation of singer Se7en. Despite spending time together at PC rooms, restaurants, and the Han River, Donghae admitted he was too shy to speak, realizing the cultural differences between the energetic YG and the more reserved SM. Eunhyuk humorously pointed out Donghae's past of just dancing without talking, adding to the laughter.

Donghae's attempt to join YG and the possibility of debuting with Big Bang also caught attention. Donghae revealed for the first time that during the 2002 World Cup, when the team he was preparing for was on the verge of disbanding, he expressed to his manager his desire to move to YG, which was planning a five-member group.

Even Eunhyuk, who has been friends with Donghae for 20 years, was shocked by this revelation. Donghae eventually debuted with Super Junior after being persuaded by SM to wait two years, only to later discover that the five-member group YG was preparing was indeed 'Big Bang.' Daesung concluded with relief, saying, "If Donghae had joined, one of the existing members wouldn't have debuted."
