Tensions Rise Again Between Um Hyun-kyung and Kim Hye-ok in 'Our Happy Days'
In the upcoming episode of KBS1's daily drama 'Our Happy Days', airing at 8:30 PM on the 27th, Jo Eun-ae (played by Um Hyun-kyung) coldly confronts Kang Yeon-ja (played by Kim Hye-ok), who demands that she give up the proceeds from the sale of 'Lucky Joy Tech' to her brother Jo Eun-hyung (played by Choi Sung-won).
In the previous episode, Jo Eun-ae flatly refused her mother Kang Yeon-ja's request to lend the sale proceeds for her brother Jo Eun-hyung's university appointment. Despite shedding tears over her mother's neglect, she softened after her father Jo Sung-joon (played by Sunwoo Jae-duk) remarked, "It seems you're afraid your brother will become unemployed," and urged her to understand her mother a bit.
Tensions also rise between Kang Yeon-ja and Jo Sung-joon, further chilling the household atmosphere. Jo Sung-joon raises his voice at Kang Yeon-ja, who cannot accept that Jo Eun-hyung turned down the professorship. Having previously supported Jo Eun-ae's assertiveness, saying, "It's nice to see you speak your mind after always yielding," Jo Sung-joon's stance in this conflict draws attention to its potential impact on family dynamics.
'Our Happy Days' airs weekdays at 8:30 PM.
