Ahn Hyo-seop, the acclaimed actor, has unveiled the human story and charm hidden behind the glamorous spotlight.

On the 26th, Ahn appeared on the YouTube channel 'Yojung Jae-hyung' with a shy smile, gradually revealing a side of himself never seen before as the talk progressed.

During the broadcast, Ahn spoke about the vanity that can come with being a trending actor, emphasizing the importance of humility taught by his parents. He reflected on his past, focusing on building a solid foundation rather than chasing leading roles, saying, “I knew I would crumble if I reached a certain position without being able to bear the weight.”

He also shared his backstory of entering the entertainment industry. During his trainee days, he fearlessly chose to come to Korea from Canada. He revealed an anecdote about calling his father in tears, apologizing for having to give up his path to preserve his pure love for music. As an actor, he confessed to the dilemma of loving acting but struggling with the celebrity role, yet now he has matured, saying, “I decided to love the love that fans give me,” warming hearts with his sincere affection for his fans.

Ahn highlighted a pivotal moment in his acting career during 'Dr. Romantic 2' with Han Suk-kyu. Burdened by the pressure of his first leading role, Han's words, “Why worry about such things if you plan to continue acting?” became a turning point for Ahn's psychological growth as an actor. He also mentioned how his English acting in 'Business Proposal' led to his casting in 'K-pop Demon Hunters,' showcasing his insightful understanding that opportunities can arise unexpectedly, making every effort valuable.

He expressed his affection for his screen debut, 'Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint,' describing it as a project he tackled with all his might, without a stunt double, sharing his admiration for the film medium and his experiences on set.
