'You Quiz on the Block' Continues to Dominate Ratings with Engaging Episodes

tvN's variety show 'You Quiz on the Block' is proving its popularity with soaring ratings. Previously, co-host Jo Se-ho, who was a regular on the show alongside Yoo Jae-suk, stepped down last December following allegations of gang involvement.

The episode aired on Wednesday, the 22nd, marked the 340th episode of 'You Quiz on the Block' and achieved an average rating of 4.4% with a peak of 6.5% in the Seoul metropolitan area. Nationwide, it recorded an average of 4.1% and a peak of 6.0%, securing the top spot in its time slot across cable and general programming channels. Additionally, it ranked first in the 2049 demographic, which is tvN's target audience, across all channels including terrestrial networks, according to Nielsen Korea's paid platform data.

In the FUNdex survey by Good Data Corporation, 'You Quiz on the Block' topped the non-drama TV category for the third week of April, demonstrating high viewer interest.

The episode, themed 'Finally Visible,' featured cognitive psychologist Professor Kim Kyung-il, who has analyzed Korean psychology for 36 years, singer Seo In-young, who returned after a long hiatus as 'Reformed Seo In-young,' and actress Moon Geun-young, who shared her journey back to health after battling a rare disease. They joined Yoo Jae-suk for candid conversations that offered insights not heard elsewhere.

The upcoming episode promises excitement with appearances by a veterinarian known for capturing the 'national wolf,' a pediatrician and weekend champion boxer Seo Ryeo-kyung, researchers Ji Hyun-jin and Kim Hyo-chang from the Agency for Defense Development, and popular comedian Yang Sang-guk, dubbed the 'Crown Prince of Gimhae.'

'You Quiz on the Block' airs every Wednesday at 8:45 PM.
