IU Shares Heartfelt Moments with Close Friends on 'I Live Alone'
The 644th episode, aired on the 24th, featured actor Yoo Soo-bin's daily life.
Yoo Soo-bin is currently playing the role of Choi Hyun, an aide to Byun Woo-seok, in '21st Century Grand Prince.' He has previously been recognized for his acting skills in various projects such as 'Weak Hero Class 2' and 'Concrete Market.'
As Yoo Soo-bin appeared on the show, MC Jun Hyun-moo mentioned, “IU texted me, asking to take good care of her friend,” highlighting the friendship between IU and Yoo Soo-bin.
Yoo Soo-bin shared that he became friends with IU through a drama, and they enjoyed a cherry blossom viewing together, capturing the moment with photos.
IU expressed gratitude, saying, “Recently, my parents were very thankful to both of you for attending the funeral.” Yoo Soo-bin had shared the news of his grandfather's passing, and IU recalled the moment with appreciation.
She added, “You two were the only friends who came. I was touched by how quickly you arrived.”
IU reminisced, “Both of you brought chocolates. Maengdal (Yoo Soo-bin) packed chocolates by flavor in a ziplock bag, knowing how tiring it is for the bereaved. It was a great comfort to me.”
She continued, “Later, Yeon-i also came with chocolates,” acknowledging the small but significant gestures of her friends.
The conversation turned light-hearted as IU shared, “My parents said Maengdal looked incredibly handsome in person,” to which Yoo Soo-bin reacted, and IU playfully added, “He loves hearing that.”
Yoo Soo-bin also revealed, “When we meet often, I see IU and Yeon-i once or twice a week. We recently went on a trip to Jeju Island and filmed a reel,” showcasing their warm friendship.
