Voting Opens for the 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards Popularity Award on Naver

Voting for the '62nd Baeksang Arts Awards with Gucci' Naver Popularity Award begins on April 24.

On the 24th, the Baeksang Arts Awards Secretariat announced that the Naver Popularity Award voting will be held from 12 PM on April 24 to 11:59 PM on May 5 (KST), lasting for 12 days.

The 'Naver Popularity Award' will select one male and one female winner with the most votes among nominees in categories such as Best Actor/Actress, Supporting Actor/Actress, New Actor/Actress, and Variety Show in the TV section, as well as Best Actor/Actress, Supporting Actor/Actress, New Actor/Actress in the Film section, and Acting Awards in the Theater and Musical sections. There are 41 male and 38 female nominees, including Lee Junho, Park Jihoon, Yoona, Kian84, Shin Hye-sun, Park Bo-young, Lee Chae-min, and Kim Go-eun, indicating fierce competition.

Voting is conducted on Naver, South Korea's leading portal that connects all possibilities through technology and service. Each account can cast one free vote per day for each male and female category. Voting rights are renewed daily at midnight.

During the voting period, participants who post a certification shot of their 'Naver Popularity Award' vote through the official Naver lounge of the '62nd Baeksang Arts Awards with Gucci' will be entered into a draw to win a ticket to the awards ceremony (one ticket per person). The '62nd Baeksang Arts Awards with Gucci' will take place on May 8 at 7:50 PM at COEX D Hall in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Shin Dong-yup, Suzy, and Park Bo-gum will host the event. It will be broadcast live simultaneously on JTBC, JTBC2, and JTBC4, with a digital exclusive live stream on Naver.
