In the preview video released after the episode, the spirit of Shin-I-Rang asks the young spirit Yoon Si-ho, "Who am I?" This adds to the tension, as spirits typically lose their memories of their past lives. Will Shin-I-Rang, who once communicated with spirits, now become one himself, or will he miraculously survive? The unpredictable storyline is set to be the main highlight of this week's episode.

Even Shin-I-Rang's home, which should be a safe haven, is shrouded in an eerie atmosphere. Upon returning to Taebaek, Yang Byung-il, played by Choi Kwang-il, first visited Shin-I-Rang's mother, Park Kyung-hwa, portrayed by Kim Mi-kyung. It turns out that Shin-I-Rang's father, Shin Ki-jung, played by Choi Won-young, and Yang Byung-il were close colleagues in the prosecutor's office. However, in the last episode, Yang Byung-il's suspicious behavior in Shin-I-Rang's home was revealed. While having a meal prepared by Park Kyung-hwa, he sneaked into the master bedroom with a stern expression. Previously, Park Kyung-hwa had mentioned a box of documents left by her husband. The revelation that Detective Jo Chi-young, who seemed to be helping Shin-I-Rang, is actually a brutal child kidnapper sent chills down viewers' spines.
