'Yumi's Cells Season 3' Tops TVING Charts, Boosts Previous Seasons

'Yumi's Cells Season 3' has claimed the top spot in both the overall and drama categories on the OTT platform TVING.

TVING released its weekly content rankings for the period from the 13th to the 19th. The TVING original 'Yumi's Cells Season 3', which premiered on the 13th, immediately soared to the top of both the overall and drama categories. Meanwhile, the fourth episode of 'Yumi's Cells Season 3', aired on the 21st, recorded a viewership rating of 1.9%.

Notably, the success of the new season is driving a resurgence in popularity for the previous seasons. Thanks to the popularity of 'Yumi's Cells Season 3', Seasons 1 and 2 have secured the 5th and 6th spots in the drama category, respectively, maintaining their positions in the rankings for four consecutive weeks. This has resulted in the entire series being featured within the top 10.

In the variety show category, dating reality shows are making a strong impact. Channel A's 'Heart Signal Season 5', which premiered on the 14th, announced the return of the original dating show and quickly climbed to the top of the variety show category (3rd overall). The appearance of a contestant who received unanimous votes on the first day has sparked significant interest, accelerating its popularity. Additionally, the celebrity parents' child observation dating reality show 'My Child's Love 2' also maintained its momentum, ranking 2nd in the variety show category (4th overall) with the reveal of the children's profiles.

JTBC's 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator since 2014' continues to enjoy steady popularity. The show garnered attention with the appearance of director Maggie Kang, a two-time Academy Award winner, and dancer Lee Jung, securing the 5th spot overall (3rd in variety shows).
