Kim Jung-tae's Son Ji-hoo Shows Remarkable Social Progress on 'Dad and Me Season 3'
On the October 22nd episode of TV CHOSUN's 'Dad and Me Season 3', the daily life of 'Yakkoong's dad' Kim Jung-tae's family is featured. Ji-hoo, Kim Jung-tae's first son, had visitors as his younger brother Si-hyun's friends came over. While studying alone in his room, Ji-hoo greeted them first by saying, “Nice to meet you.”
Although everyone, including friends and family, gathered in the living room, Ji-hoo retreated to his room. Diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, Ji-hoo tends to focus on his own interests and shows little interest in others. This lack of social skills has been a major concern for Kim Jung-tae and his wife. Despite the lively atmosphere due to Si-hyun and his friends' visit, Ji-hoo, accustomed to being alone, chose to stay in his room. Si-hyun commented, “My brother prefers playing computer games or creating stories by himself rather than playing with friends,” showing no surprise.
Han Hye-jin noted, “It seems like he’s changing after counseling. I hope he learns the fun of playing with friends,” expressing hope for the future. Dad Kim Jung-tae also said, “It was the first time I saw it. I was surprised then, and I’m surprised again now,” bewildered by his son’s transformation.
The story of Kim Ji-hoo, Kim Jung-tae's eldest son, and his journey after being diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome can be seen on 'Dad and Me' airing at 10 PM.
