SNL Korea Season 8 Unveils Star-Studded Host Lineup with Han Ga-in's Return

SNL Korea Season 8 has announced its new host lineup, featuring Tak Jae-hoon, Go Ah-sung, Song Ji-hyo, Lee Mi-sook, Shin Sung-rok, Choo Sung-hoon, and Han Ga-in. Han Ga-in's participation is particularly noteworthy. Known for her stunning visuals since her debut, she continued to shine in various projects like 'Witch Yoo Hee,' 'Bad Guy,' and 'Moon Embracing the Sun' even after marrying Yeon Jung-hoon in 2005. However, she has been on a hiatus from acting since 'Mistress' in 2018.

Coupang Play's comedy show is Korea's top comedy show, sweeping the buzz charts with its bold and daring humor from superstar hosts and trusted crew. Each week, top stars deliver fresh shocks with their comedic performances, and the new hosts are set to elevate the live show, raising viewers' expectations to new heights.

The episode airing on Saturday, the 25th, will be led by 'veteran stage master' Shin Sung-rok, who has showcased unique characters through stage and drama since his debut. This marks his first venture into live comedy with SNL Korea. Shin expressed his excitement, saying, "I've longed for this stage for a long time, and I'm thrilled to seize the opportunity. I'll bring back my signature characters and completely let go to deliver genuine laughter."

Episode 6 will feature 'eternal fighter' Choo Sung-hoon. Known for creating numerous 'sexy Yama' memes during his past appearances, he plans to unleash his sharpened and raw wit, honed through YouTube and variety shows, on the SNL Korea stage. Choo stated, "I never imagined I'd host again, but I'm ready to showcase my enhanced 'Ajossi Comedy Power.'"

Episode 7 will see 'free-spirited wife' Han Ga-in taking the baton. Known for surprising and amusing the public with her hidden charms behind her elegant image, Han Ga-in expressed her desire to make people laugh, saying, "I have a strong desire to make people laugh. With the help of the top crew, I want to let loose without any reservations."

SNL Korea Season 8, which has dominated Coupang Play's popularity rankings and various buzz charts since its release, will air its fourth episode with host Lee Mi-sook on April 18th (Saturday) at 8 PM. Both Coupang Wow members and general members can watch for free.
