'Yumi's Cells Season 3' has captured audiences with its delightful romance, ranking first in weekly paid subscriber contributions during its premiere week (April 13-19).
Amidst its growing popularity, episodes 3 and 4 are set to release today (April 20). New stills reveal Yumi (played by Kim Go-eun), Soon-rok (played by Kim Jae-won), and Ju-ho (played by Choi Daniel) on a bookstore street outing. The introduction of Ju-ho, a new character, piques curiosity about how he will affect Yumi and Soon-rok's relationship.
In the previous episodes, Yumi, who had been leading a mundane life after becoming a successful writer, experiences changes with Soon-rok as her producer. Soon-rok's presence, which often angers Yumi, causes turmoil in her cell village. The revelation that Soon-rok requested a change of writer from editor Da-yong (played by Jeon Seok-ho) led to a humorous ending with Yumi's outburst. Episodes 3 and 4 promise to explore Yumi's wavering feelings for Soon-rok, Soon-rok's transformation due to Yumi, and the impact of Ju-ho's arrival, exciting viewers.
The production team stated, "Soon-rok's arrival marks the end of Yumi's monotonous life. Love remains challenging, but watch how Yumi, who gives her all, changes Soon-rok, and how the new character Ju-ho influences their relationships."
'Yumi's Cells Season 3' will exclusively premiere episodes 3 and 4 on TVING today (April 20) at 6 PM. Episode 3 will air on tvN at 8:50 PM, with new episodes broadcasting every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 PM.
