Park Mi-sun Returns to TV After Battling Breast Cancer with New Family Reality Show

South Korean TV personality Park Mi-sun is making a comeback after a year and a half hiatus due to her battle with breast cancer.

According to MBN on the 20th, the new family observation reality show has been titled 'Precious Family of Others' (hereafter 'Precious Family') and is set to premiere in June.

'Precious Family' is a family observation reality program that captures the everyday lives of various celebrity families, showcasing moments of laughter, tears, love, and conflict. By peering into 'other people's homes,' the show aims to highlight the essence of relationships and offer viewers a chance to reflect on the meaning and importance of family through the lives of others.

The news of Park Mi-sun's return is particularly exciting. After taking a break from her career due to breast cancer, Park Mi-sun will appear in 'Precious Family' in good health. This marks her return to television after her last appearance on TV Chosun's 'Now Alone' in December 2024, approximately 18 months ago.

In this program, Park Mi-sun will appear alongside her husband, Lee Bong-won, sharing updates and insights into their lives. Known for her empathy and realistic perspective, Park Mi-sun will anchor the show, offering viewers a glimpse into the relatable and heartfelt stories of the 'Park Mi-sun-Lee Bong-won' couple, promising both emotional resonance and laughter.

The production team stated, "Through the stories of not only Park Mi-sun and Lee Bong-won but also various families each episode, we plan to naturally portray the differences in family perspectives and the process of understanding. We aim to deliver warm empathy and lingering impressions to the audience."

MBN's new variety show 'Precious Family of Others' will premiere in June on MBN.
