Yoo Bi Lee Charms Fans with Her Return in 'Yumi's Cells Season 3'

Actress Yoo Bi Lee, daughter of Kyeon Mi-ri, has returned to the small screen, bringing her signature charm and energy. After a two-year hiatus since the 2024 SBS drama '7 Days of Resurrection,' she is back to captivate audiences.

Yoo Bi made a special appearance in the first two episodes of the TVING original series 'Yumi's Cells Season 3,' which premiered on the 13th, delighting fans who had eagerly awaited the show's return.

'Yumi's Cells Season 3' follows the story of Yumi, played by Kim Go-eun, a star writer whose mundane life is turned upside down by the unexpected arrival of a character named Soon-rok, played by Kim Jae-won. The series explores a relatable romance that makes viewers laugh, cry, and fall in love all over again.

Yoo Bi, who was adored for her role as the lovable yet mischievous Ruby in the first two seasons, made a surprise appearance in the first two episodes of Season 3. Her portrayal of 'Human Vitamin Ruby' brought smiles to viewers' faces once again.

In the show, Ruby frequently visits Yumi's studio, entrusting her with her pet dog, Coco. Coco adds vibrancy to Yumi's otherwise monotonous life. When Ruby returns to pick up Coco, she notices a change in Yumi's demeanor, playfully commenting, "Why do you seem so excited? It's been a while since I've seen you like this."

Yoo Bi showcased various styles that reflect the passage of time, exuding her lovely charm and visual appeal. Her chemistry with Kim Go-eun was seamless, much to the delight of fans eagerly anticipating the new season.

'Yumi's Cells Season 3' releases two exclusive episodes every Monday at 6 PM on TVING, and airs on tvN every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 PM.
