'Hangout with Yoo' Continues to Dominate: 3 Weeks of Unmatched Popularity

MBC's variety show 'Hangout with Yoo' has maintained its buzz for three consecutive weeks. Previously, actor Lee Yi-kyung, a regular member, exited the show due to personal controversies.

The show, featuring Yoo Jae-suk, Haha, Heo Kyung-hwan, and Joo Woo-jae, has captivated audiences with their incredible chemistry. 'Hangout with Yoo' prides itself on being an open-format variety show, delivering diverse scenarios and laughter each week, garnering positive reactions across video views and online communities.

As a result, in the Good Data Corporation's FUNdex TV popularity survey for the second week of April, the show ranked first in the non-drama category for three consecutive weeks, solidifying its status as a leading weekend entertainment program. It also placed fourth in the overall TV-OTT non-drama rankings. Additionally, the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute announced that 'Hangout with Yoo' topped the entertainment program brand reputation rankings for April 2026, with Yoo Jae-suk and Haha ranking first and third, respectively, in the entertainer brand reputation rankings.

In the upcoming episode airing on the 18th, newly released stills show Yoo Jae-suk, Haha, Heo Kyung-hwan, and Joo Woo-jae dressed in stylish suits, a departure from their usual comedic costumes. Notably, Haha and Heo Kyung-hwan transform into royal dogs for the Crown Prince of Gimhae, showcasing their dedication with dog costumes. The members' dapper appearances capture attention.

The episode begins warmly, with the members expressing gratitude for the recent love from viewers. Yoo Jae-suk remarks, "It's something to be thankful for," and "We need to do even better," boosting the team's morale. The reason for their formal attire is to execute a special mission. Previously, the show's official social media invited viewers to submit requests for 'Anything You Want.' The members are set to respond to these requests, sparking curiosity about where and what mission they will undertake.
