T-ara's Hyomin Touches Hearts with Generous Act on 'Fun-Staurant'
On the October 17th episode of KBS 2TV's 'Fun-Staurant', Hyomin, known as the 'planning fairy' for her meticulous approach to cooking, prepared a special orange-themed meal for culinary marketing expert No Hee-young. Hyomin also made a gold kumquat cake, recognized by the 'witch' critic No Hee-young, and donated her entire appearance fee to a sick fan.
On this day, Hyomin appeared more nervous than usual as she checked her self-written cooking plan. She invited No Hee-young, known for her sharp critiques on the 'MasterChef Korea' series and for discovering chef Choi Kang-rok, the winner of 'Black and White Chef 2'. Hyomin prepared a course meal with appetizers, main dishes, and desserts all in vibrant orange hues to suit No Hee-young's preference for color.
No Hee-young savored Hyomin's completed meal and offered valuable advice before the first dish evaluation. She also praised Hyomin for her determination and foresight, noting her achievements since obtaining a Japanese culinary license in 2018, launching her own liquor brand in 2023, and planning to enter the contact lens business by 2025.
After the 'Fun-Staurant' broadcast, Hyomin shared the news of her meaningful act on her social media. She personally delivered the gold kumquat cake, praised by No Hee-young, to a sick fan who loves T-ara's music. Hyomin stated, "Meeting and talking with them made me want to share this feeling more. Although small, I donated my entire appearance fee from 'Fun-Staurant' to the hospital. This experience holds great meaning for me and will strengthen my resolve in my work."
