In the latest episode of MBC's Friday-Saturday drama '21st Century Grand Prince,' Ian (played by Byun Woo-seok) made a bold entrance into the palace, hand in hand with Seong Hee-joo (played by IU), amidst a scandal that has captivated the nation.

Aired on the 17th, the episode showcased Ian's defiant gesture of holding Seong Hee-joo's hand firmly, despite the media frenzy questioning their relationship status.

Previously, Ian had accepted Seong Hee-joo's 'contract marriage' proposal, declaring, "Prepare to become the Grand Princess. Your counterpart will be the entire nation," and stood his ground against the opposition from Queen Dowager Yoon Yi-rang (played by Gong Seung-yeon).

Queen Dowager Yoon demanded an apology for the scandal that tarnished the royal family's reputation, criticizing Ian's lack of explanation. However, Ian remained unwavering.

In front of the Queen Dowager, Ian boldly stated, "I intend to acknowledge both the hotel rendezvous and the possibility of marriage," effectively making his relationship with Seong Hee-joo official.

After entering the palace, Seong Hee-joo, informed of the Queen Dowager's opposition, quipped, "It feels like I'm already experiencing in-law troubles," yet couldn't hide her affection for Ian, who stood by her side, delighting viewers with their chemistry.
