Actress Moon Geun-young, born in 1987, has shared an update on her life.

On the 15th, the popular tvN variety show 'You Quiz on the Block' teased an upcoming appearance by Moon Geun-young. Host Yoo Jae-suk announced, "Our eternal national little sister Moon Geun-young has returned in good health." Moon humorously responded, "In the meantime, I've turned forty. I'm the national little sister from 'My Little Bride.'" Previously, Moon underwent emergency surgery for acute compartment syndrome. She recalled, "I was told that necrosis might have already started as I had missed the golden time, which led to the urgent surgery."

Moon Geun-young debuted in 1999 with the film 'On the Way' and gained immense popularity through dramas like 'Autumn in My Heart,' 'Empress Myeongseong,' and films such as 'A Tale of Two Sisters' and 'My Little Bride.' In 2017, during her performance in the play 'Romeo and Juliet,' she was diagnosed with acute compartment syndrome and underwent four surgeries. She announced her full recovery in 2024. Acute compartment syndrome is a condition caused by abnormal pressure in muscles, nerves, and blood vessels, often leading to pain and paralysis in the limbs.

Moon Geun-young is currently starring in the play 'Orphans,' which will run until the 31st of next month at Daehakro TOM 1 Theater. She takes on the lead role of Treat alongside Jung In-ji, Choi Seok-jin, and Oh Seung-hoon.
