Korean Minister Song Mi-ryeong Joins 'New Release Pyeonstorang' as Menu Evaluator

Korean Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, Song Mi-ryeong, steps in as a menu evaluator on 'New Release Pyeonstorang'.

On the upcoming episode of KBS 2TV's 'New Release Pyeonstorang', airing on the 17th, the results of the menu competition featuring Kim Kang-woo, Kim Jae-joong, and Hyomin will be revealed. The theme of the competition is 'Our Beans', a topic previously introduced by Minister Song herself, raising anticipation about which contestant will win and have their 'Our Beans' menu released.

During a recent studio recording of 'Pyeonstorang', Minister Song, a passionate advocate for 'Our Beans', made a surprise appearance. She expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “I am a fan of 'Pyeonstorang' and wanted to share more about 'Our Beans'.” She even wore a T-shirt featuring 'Our Beans' to show her support.

Minister Song shared her morning routine, saying, “I start my day with morning bean water instead of coffee,” and brought some for everyone to try. Kim Jae-joong, known for his idol status, playfully attempted a 'bean water commercial' on the spot, charming everyone with his line, “If you drink this in one shot, you have to date me.” Minister Song responded with a warm smile.

Minister Song also recreated a famous drama scene to promote 'Our Beans', replacing cappuccino foam with bean water foam. Her dedication to promoting 'Our Beans' brought laughter and joy to the 'Pyeonstorang' studio.

Meanwhile, Kim Kang-woo, Kim Jae-joong, and Hyomin presented exceptional 'Our Beans' menus, leading to a close competition. Minister Song praised the winning menu, saying, “I hope people worldwide will enjoy this as the next K-food.” Who will be the winner and what is the winning menu?

Find out on the 17th, right after the 'Friday Night Baseball' broadcast on KBS 2TV's 'New Release Pyeonstorang'. The winning menu will be available as a ready-to-eat meal on Ourhome's online mall and served in Ourhome cafeterias nationwide.
