ENA's New Thriller 'Scarecrow' Unveils Intriguing Stills Ahead of Premiere
The upcoming ENA drama 'Scarecrow' has released stills ahead of its premiere on the 20th, showcasing Kang Tae-joo's (played by Park Hae-soo) return to Gangseong.
'Scarecrow' follows a detective investigating a serial murder case who unexpectedly teams up with someone he despises. Spanning from 1988 to 2019, the series delves into the truth behind two men's intertwined fates of enmity and hatred. Inspired by one of Korea's most notorious serial murder cases, this crime thriller explores the hidden facets of the case after the real culprit is revealed.
In the newly released photos, Kang Tae-joo, demoted from Seoul, reunites with his hometown friends, sharing a warm moment despite his disgraceful return. Sitting with Seo Ji-won (played by Kwak Sun-young) and Lee Ki-hwan (played by Jung Moon-sung), their laughter hints at a deep and comfortable bond. The scene also captures the entrance of a young man, drawing attention with his desperate and urgent gaze as he kneels before Kang Tae-joo.
The production team stated, "With just four days until the premiere, the first episode will see Kang Tae-joo returning to his hometown. Watch to find out what the first case assigned to him in Gangseong will be and the truth behind the Gangseong serial murder case, which leads to a dangerous collaboration with Cha Si-young."
'Scarecrow' premieres on the 20th at 10 PM.
