Lee Dong-wook to Star in Netflix's New Series 'Love Affair'

Actor Lee Dong-wook (44) has been confirmed as the lead in Netflix's new series 'Love Affair'.

On the 16th, Netflix announced the production of 'Love Affair' and revealed the casting lineup, including Lee Dong-wook, Jeon So-ni, Jung Yu-mi, and Lee Jong-won. The series tells the story of two people who spend an unforgettable night together, leading to a dramatic upheaval in the lives of four individuals.

'Love Affair' begins with 'Ji-hoon' and 'Hoo-kyung' meeting by chance in a foreign land and spending a dreamlike day together. Upon returning to Korea, they find themselves irresistibly drawn to each other, despite knowing their encounter was a mistake, causing their once peaceful lives to be turned upside down.

The series is directed by Mo Wan-il, known for his acclaimed work on Netflix's 'In the Forest of No One' and the drama 'The World of the Married', praised for his ability to delve deeply into characters' psyches.
