Comedian Jo Hye-ryun Names Yoo Jae-suk as Her Life Role Model

Comedian Jo Hye-ryun has named Yoo Jae-suk as her life role model.

The web variety show 'Desperate Mouth' (produced by Studio Suje) will air on October 14 at 6:30 PM, featuring MC Kim Ji-yoo visiting her senior comedian and theater actress Jo Hye-ryun. The episode will showcase the duo enjoying a meal together after Jo's stage performance.

The episode highlights the strong chemistry between the seasoned comedian Jo Hye-ryun, who has been in the industry for 35 years, and her junior, Kim Ji-yoo. Jo offers candid advice to Kim, who shares that senior comedian Kim Gu-ra once called her 'Little Jo Hye-ryun.' Jo responds, "You seem like a wild colt. It's refreshing, but sometimes you need to calm down. Look far and aim for longevity."

Jo Hye-ryun, a graduate of Hanyang University's Theater and Film Department, reflects on her 35-year career in the entertainment industry, stating, "Since debuting in 1992, I've experienced many ups and downs. I've been married twice, but as a public figure, I endure with a sense of duty, managing myself to continue receiving public love."

Naming Yoo Jae-suk as her life role model, Jo humorously shares, "I'm definitely part of the 'Yoo Line' (Yoo Jae-suk's circle). He sends me Korean beef every holiday, and I reciprocate by buying and gifting him beef every year, maintaining our friendship." Her story brings laughter to the set.
