Yunho U-Know Ignites Passion on '2 Days & 1 Night' Amid Yuseonho's Absence Due to Injury

With Yuseonho absent from filming due to a back injury, the members of '2 Days & 1 Night' ramped up their passion alongside guests Yunho U-Know and Kang Jae-jun.

The episode of KBS2's variety show '2 Days & 1 Night Season 4' aired on the 12th, featuring the first part of the 'Dangjin Passion Tour' in Dangjin, Chungcheongnam-do. The episode secured a 6.2% nationwide viewership rating, according to Nielsen Korea, maintaining its top spot in the time slot. A scene where Yunho U-Know, Kang Jae-jun, Moon Se-yoon, and Lee Jun braved the cold sea for three seconds hit a peak viewership of 10.2%.

In this episode, the '2 Days & 1 Night' team kicked off their journey with guest Kang Jae-jun, filling in for Yuseonho. The production team announced, "To boost the members' relaxed variety spirit, we've invited a 'passion expert,'" surprising the members with the appearance of Yunho U-Know, the entertainment industry's 'icon of passion.'

Yunho U-Know stated, "I heard the members' passion has waned. I'll reignite the passion of '2 Days & 1 Night,'" showing his determination from the start. The production team revisited Yunho's famous quotes like 'Mentality governs the body' and 'The most harmful bug to humans is laziness,' setting the stage for the 'Dangjin Passion Tour.'

The members split into Jae-jun's team (Kang Jae-jun, Moon Se-yoon, Lee Jun) and Yunho's team (Yunho U-Know, Kim Jong-min, DinDin) for the lunch game 'Stamina Muscle Park.' Although Yunho's team lost the first round 'Horizontal Bar Challenge' by one question, they won the second round 'Three-legged Race' and the third round 'Bullfighting Lyrics Quiz,' securing their lunch.

Yunho U-Know, Kim Jong-min, and DinDin enjoyed a delightful lunch of 'Dangjin Grilled Eel Set' after their comeback victory. Meanwhile, Kang Jae-jun, Moon Se-yoon, and Lee Jun settled for a modest meal of rice and kimchi, with Lee Jun earning the title of 'Defeat Fairy' after losing all redemption missions.

On the bus ride, Yunho U-Know continued to motivate the members, saying, "We need to wake up," as they struggled with a sugar crash. Revitalized, the members participated in the snack money mission 'Our Ranking Show,' where Yunho's team emerged victorious again, securing snack money.

After a snack break, the teams moved to Waemok Village Beach for the 'Water Entry Game.' In the first round 'High Jump,' Kang Jae-jun's physical prowess led his team to a sweeping victory. Despite the setback, Yunho's team remained determined, recalling their earlier comeback.

Fueled by passion, Yunho's team overcame their physical disadvantage to win the second round 'Circular Tug-of-War.' In the final round 'Loyalty Relay,' Yunho U-Know's explosive speed allowed him to overtake Jae-jun's team, securing a dramatic comeback victory.

Accepting their defeat, Jae-jun's team proposed a joint water entry with Yunho U-Know. Embracing the passionate atmosphere, Yunho agreed, declaring, "Taking off for a new voyage on '2 Days & 1 Night!'" before plunging into the sea with Kang Jae-jun, Moon Se-yoon, and Lee Jun.

Despite their bold entry, the cold weather and icy water prompted screams. Yet, Yunho U-Know countered the chill with his famous quote, "Stay in the cold water for three seconds, you'll adapt. Life is like that," showcasing his relentless passion.

Lee Jun remarked, "Yunho hyung is strange," shaking his head, while DinDin humorously suggested, "It might be mania, not passion." Experiencing his first water entry on '2 Days & 1 Night,' Kang Jae-jun humorously contradicted Yunho's quote, saying, "It gets even colder after exactly three seconds."
