Kim Go-eun recently shared insights into her short hairstyle for her role in 'Yumi's Cells Season 3'. Following the release of the teaser video, some viewers expressed concerns about the hairstyle's alignment with the original work.

On the afternoon of the 7th, a production presentation for the TVING original series 'Yumi's Cells Season 3' was held at The Link Seoul Tribute Portfolio Hotel Wedding in Guro-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by actress Kim Go-eun, actor Kim Jae-won, and director Lee Sang-yeob.

'Yumi's Cells 3' follows the story of Yumi, played by Kim Go-eun, who becomes a star writer and experiences unexpected emotional upheavals due to a surprising new character in her life.

Kim Go-eun, who plays the role of Yumi, a successful romance novelist struggling with love, commented on her hairstyle, saying, "I didn't have much hair to begin with, and it didn't grow much," she laughed. She added, "Many writers I know have short hair. Since Yumi works indoors, I thought it should be practical."

Regarding the show's appeal, she stated, "It's a work that makes you laugh a lot. Just watching it lifts your spirits. The OST makes your heart race. Such dramas are rare," she expressed confidently. She continued, "Life is similar for everyone, regardless of age. I felt that more while playing Yumi. I hope viewers can relate."

While previous seasons of 'Yumi's Cells' had 14 episodes, Season 3 is shorter with 8 episodes. Director Lee Sang-yeob explained, "There's no special reason. As we structured the story, we noticed significant changes in viewing habits over the past 4-5 years, so we decided to make it more compact and focus on the fun parts."

Regarding the adaptation from the webtoon, he said, "It's hard to say it's exactly the same as the original. There are some differences. I can't reveal the ending, but I hope you watch it." He added, "Yumi's growth isn't over, and her love continues. It's like our ongoing lives. I hope you join us. I hope this series makes you want to reach out to someone special."

'Yumi's Cells Season 3' will be available on TVING at 6 PM on the 13th, followed by its first broadcast on tvN at 8:50 PM.
