During a promotional appearance on Coupang Play's variety show 'Sister's Chicken,' Park Min-young humorously commented on their kiss scene, saying, "(Wi Ha-jun's kiss scene) was his second or third. Since I've done a lot of romance, I joked that he was a 'kiss newbie.' But then, during the shoot, he suddenly went for it." She added, "For someone who's only done three kiss scenes, it was like suction." Her comments drew laughter but also some criticism from viewers who felt it was inappropriate.

Regarding the kiss scene issue, Wi Ha-jun smiled and said, "Min-young was trying to be expressive and fun during promotions, and I appreciated her efforts. I found it amusing."

Wi Ha-jun also commented on the 'suction kiss' nickname, saying, "It was funny how she expressed it. If it helps the show gain more viewers, I'm grateful." He praised Park Min-young for her efforts to ease his tension on set, noting her playful demeanor helped create a comfortable atmosphere.

"As the lead, Min-young had to stay immersed in her role, so she seemed a bit somber at first, like her character Han Seol-ah. But as filming progressed, she showed her bright energy. She gave me many tips on romantic scenes, like how to position my hands or complimenting my shoulder line, which was incredibly helpful and educational."
