Former Baseball Star Lee Dae-ho Takes Helm of Busan Little Giants in New Youth League Show

Former baseball player Lee Dae-ho, known for his impressive career earnings of approximately 42.9 billion KRW, has taken on the role of head coach for the Busan Little Giants team.

On October 10th, an online press conference was held for the KBS2 variety show 'Our Neighborhood Baseball Captain.' The event was attended by Park Yong-taek, Lee Dae-ho, Kim Tae-kyun, Na Ji-wan, and producer Lee Jung-wook.

'Our Neighborhood Baseball Captain' is a program where KBO legends form teams by selecting U-10 youth players from their respective hometowns and compete in actual league matches. Park Yong-taek, Lee Dae-ho, Kim Tae-kyun, and Na Ji-wan are transforming into scouts and head coaches, making their debut in these roles alongside aspiring young baseball talents.

Lee Dae-ho expressed his excitement, saying, "I was so happy to receive the call for 'Our Neighborhood Baseball Captain.'" He added, "I am honored to have the opportunity to teach young players and thrilled to wear the Giants logo uniform again. I accepted the coaching offer because I wanted to contribute to the growth of these kids."

He also shared his insights as a coach, noting, "It's definitely different from my youth days. The kids aren't afraid of the coaches or the head coach, and their constant positivity is wonderful. It's rewarding to see their skills improve week by week."

'Our Neighborhood Baseball Captain' is set to premiere on October 12th at 9:20 PM.
