Former Baseball Star Lee Dae-ho Discusses Son's Participation in 'Our Neighborhood Baseball Captain'

Former professional baseball player Lee Dae-ho mentioned his son, Lee Ye-seung, during the production presentation of 'Our Neighborhood Baseball Captain.'

On the 10th, an online production presentation for KBS2's variety show 'Our Neighborhood Baseball Captain' was held. The event was attended by Park Yong-taek, Lee Dae-ho, Kim Tae-kyun, Na Ji-wan, and director Lee Jung-wook.

'Our Neighborhood Baseball Captain' is a program where KBO legends select U-10 youth players from their respective hometowns to form teams and compete in actual league matches. Park Yong-taek, Lee Dae-ho, Kim Tae-kyun, and Na Ji-wan transform into scouts and managers, making their debut as directors alongside young baseball talents.

Last month, it was revealed that Lee Dae-ho's son, Lee Ye-seung, participated in the tryouts for 'Our Neighborhood Baseball Captain.' Regarding this, Lee Dae-ho stated, "Yes, he participated in the tryouts. I observed him as a fourth-grade player, not as my son. I watched more critically, thinking he needed to perform better to be selected."

Lee Ye-seung joined the team thanks to his outstanding skills. Lee Dae-ho commented, "Fortunately, he didn't make any mistakes and was recognized by other coaches, so he was selected for the team. If Ye-seung shows good performance and results, it will make me happy as a father. However, I will praise him at home, not on the broadcast," he said with a smile.

'Our Neighborhood Baseball Captain' will premiere on the 12th at 9:20 PM.
