Why 'I Am Solo' Star Young-ja's Reunion with Her Boyfriend Fell Through
On the 8th, a video featuring Young-ja from ENA and SBS Plus's 'I Am Solo' was released on 'Jung Ho-geun's Life Shindang'.
In the video, Young-ja candidly shared her past relationships, attempts at reconciliation, and the situation that arose due to her parents' opposition.
Actor-turned-shaman Jung Ho-geun told Young-ja, “It’s very difficult for you to meet men. From what I see, your partner seems to be someone who has been married before,” adding, “The relationship doesn’t develop into a long-lasting romantic relationship.”
In response, Young-ja from the 10th season confessed, “I always meet people, but I don’t seem to make an effort until the end. I believe you can’t change a person. If I can’t accept someone as they are, I let them go.”
Young-ja also explained her current dating situation, saying, “I’m tired of getting to know people, so I thought I should compromise if things match to some extent.” She revealed, “I don’t have a boyfriend now, but there was a time I reached out because I wanted to reunite.”
However, the reunion did not happen. Young-ja candidly shared, “He has never been married, but his parents opposed because I have been married once. They said dating is fine, but marriage is not, so I felt my charm wasn’t enough to convince them, and I ended it.”
Meanwhile, Young-ja from the 10th season appeared on SBS PLUS's 'I Am Solo: Love Continues' in January and developed a real-life relationship with Mr. Hwang, but news of their breakup emerged in July.
