Chef Ahn Sung-jae Engages in Candid Conversation with 'Brewing Master Yoon Joo-mo' on YouTube

Chef Ahn Sung-jae, known for his appearance on Netflix's 'Black and White Chef 2', recently had an engaging conversation with 'Brewing Master Yoon Joo-mo' on his YouTube channel, 'Chef Ahn Sung-jae'.

The video titled 'Mosu Bacteria! Mosu Bacteria! Ahn Sung-jae Gets Intoxicated by the Power of Joseon-era K-Jumo?!' features Ahn and Yoon brewing alcohol together and sharing heartfelt stories. Yoon Joo-mo expressed, "Brewing requires continuous focus and dedication, whereas cooking seems more like a creative field. You mentioned my food has changed, right?"

After tasting Yoon's dish, Ahn commented, "The taste of the ssamjang is a bit different. When I ate it with the pork fat, I thought, 'What am I eating right now?'" Yoon responded, "This is delicious even when made into a stew, so I prepared it for you today."

Ahn asked, "Is your passion for cooking and brewing the reason you appeared on 'Black and White Chef Season 2'? Or was there another motive?" Yoon replied, "There was something unresolved personally. I felt the need to reveal myself."

Ahn then inquired, "How did you feel after appearing on the show?" Yoon answered, "I never formally learned cooking, so I always questioned if my dishes tasted right, relying only on customer feedback. The first official validation was when you tasted my food."

Yoon continued, "You were the first, and after 'Black and White Chef Season 2', I gained wonderful colleagues and mentors. Now, I have many people to ask for advice, making the experience feel like finding a culinary mentor, which was incredibly rewarding."

Ahn remarked, "When you open a restaurant, not all customers may agree with your taste. There are good days and bad days, and on a bad day, you might receive criticism. However, as you mentioned, continuing to improve is key, and I believe your skill will impress many when they experience it."
