Korean Comedian Lee Yong-sik Loses 20kg for Granddaughter's Future

Renowned Korean comedian 'Bbosik' Lee Yong-sik has announced a remarkable 20kg weight loss.

On the upcoming episode of KBS2's variety show 'The Return of Superman' (Episode 616), airing on the 8th, hosts Kim Jong-min and Lala will be joined by new family members, including Lee Yong-sik and his granddaughter Won I-el.

The 75-year-old grandfather, who welcomed his first granddaughter last year, is seen sweating it out with intense morning workouts. He shares, "I used to hate exercising, but now I have a goal," expressing his heartfelt wish to live a long and healthy life with I-el, which touches the hearts of many.
His only daughter, Lee Soo-min, reveals, "My dad is about 10 years older than the fathers of my peers," and recalls the traumatic memory of her father collapsing from a heart attack when she was seven, which has motivated her to become his health guardian.

Since the birth of his granddaughter, Lee Yong-sik has consistently managed his diet and exercise, resulting in a 20kg weight loss. He proudly states, "It's the greatest achievement of my 75 years," revealing that his weight dropped from over 110kg to 90kg. His daughter, Lee Soo-min, expresses pride in her father's newfound dedication to health, saying, "He seems to be working harder with the dream of attending I-el's wedding someday."
