Actor Lee Ki-taek Expresses Gratitude Towards Han Ji-min for Her Supportive Role on Set
On the 6th, in a meeting room in Yeoksam-dong, Seoul, we met with Lee Ki-taek, the lead actor of JTBC's weekend drama 'Efficient Meeting of Single Men and Women'.
The recently concluded drama 'Efficient Meeting of Single Men and Women' (hereafter 'Single Men and Women') tells the story of Oh Yeong (played by Han Ji-min), a woman who decides to find love and meets Song Tae-seop (played by Park Sung-hoon) and Shin Ji-soo (played by Lee Ki-taek) on a blind date, discovering the true meaning of love. Lee Ki-taek portrayed Shin Ji-soo, a free-spirited younger man who is both a theater actor and a professional part-timer.
He continued, "Han Ji-min knows all the staff members' names on set, creating a comfortable atmosphere. She even told me to call her 'noona' from our second meeting. Since Yeong and Ji-soo have a comfortable relationship, she helped me act comfortably. She truly cares for her co-actors more than herself."
Regarding Park Sung-hoon, he added, "Since our characters are in opposition, I thought there might be some distance, but he was always welcoming when I asked about acting. He was okay with me approaching him to discuss lines and rehearse together."
