Rising Star Jang Da-ah Shares Her Journey to Acting and Embracing Her Unique Charm

Jang Da-ah, the older sister of K-pop star Jang Won-young, has opened up about her journey to becoming an actress. Born in 2001, she studied Korean traditional dance at Yewon School, graduated from Seoul Arts High School, and is currently attending Ewha Womans University.

She stated, "Different aspects of me naturally come out depending on the situation and relationship," emphasizing that she doesn't confine herself to a specific image. Regarding her charm, she mentioned, "People perceive me differently," describing herself as an 'onion-like person.'

While she could intentionally craft an image to gain more opportunities as an actress, she drew a line by saying, "If I force it, it becomes awkward." She confessed, "I find charm in speaking naturally and not fabricating anything."

Jang Da-ah added, "In official settings, I should act accordingly, but I don't want to fit myself into a specific image," noting, "The more I do that, the less charming I seem."

She also touched on her positive attitude, saying, "Even when things are tough, time resolves many issues," and "I try to accept things and stay bright." She expressed her hope that "people meeting me for the first time receive good energy from me."

Jang Da-ah explained, "I naturally found my direction after going through tough times alone."
