Comedian Kim Ji-min Expresses Frustration on 'Lee Ho-sun's Cider' Over Family Drama
Comedian Kim Ji-min, who is married to Kim Jun-ho, expressed her frustration on the show 'Lee Ho-sun's Cider.'

On the October 4th episode of SBS Plus's 'Lee Ho-sun's Cider,' various stories were shared under the theme 'Troublemaker Alert!' From a resignation-inducing office romance to a friend’s wife threatening a 30-year friendship, a parent disrupting classroom harmony, and a brother-in-law encouraging visits to adult entertainment venues, the stories were beyond imagination. The top story featured a 17-year married woman sharing her struggles with her brother-in-law and his wife, the only flaw in her otherwise perfect in-laws.

The storyteller revealed that while her parents-in-law, husband, and sister-in-law are wonderful, her husband's brother is the family's troublemaker. His aggressive tone has hurt family members and even made the atmosphere tense around his young nephew. The situation worsened with his wife, who lives with the parents-in-law but leaves household chores to the storyteller. The brother-in-law also doubted the storyteller, who often covered family gathering expenses.

Lee Ho-sun diagnosed that the brother-in-law acts as the family's evaluator, with no one to mediate, suggesting a long-standing family pattern. Lee then offered a solution, advising the storyteller to avoid unnecessary encounters if they cause distress and to meet the in-laws separately. He described the situation as a 'rogue causing chaos in a good family' and suggested the storyteller should not be consumed by it. He also noted that the brother-in-law might have been a long-standing concern for the parents, advising, 'Let the dutiful son handle it, and we can show our respect in our way.'

Finally, Lee advised the storyteller to 'live for Ok-soon's freedom and ignore the brother-in-law's family.' The storyteller responded with a satisfying retort, 'Don't blame the younger siblings; the brother should do better.' Kim Ji-min shared in the frustration and showed her support.
