Actor Lee Beom-soo Opens Up About Life After Divorce on 'My Ugly Duckling'

Actor Lee Beom-soo has shared his feelings following his divorce.

On the October 5th episode of SBS's variety show 'My Ugly Duckling,' a preview revealed Lee Beom-soo living alone.

At the end of the episode, Lee Beom-soo appeared in his solo living space, capturing viewers' attention. Notably, he was seen struggling with unfamiliar tasks during a bank transaction. He appeared flustered when he couldn't make a mobile transfer and was shown exchanging a 50,000 won bill for smaller denominations to pay for parking.

Most significantly, Lee Beom-soo addressed his personal life directly. He stated, “As many of you know, I've had personal family issues over the past 2-3 years,” adding, “I didn't want to turn on the TV because of the sad, painful, and embarrassing matters.”

He continued, “I am completely alone now. It was really tough, really tough,” confessing the difficulties he faced.

Previously, Lee Beom-soo remarried interpreter Lee Yoon-jin in 2010 and had a son and a daughter. However, following rumors of a split in December 2023, he proceeded with divorce proceedings. In February, he announced through his agency that the legal process had been amicably concluded.

There is growing interest in Lee Beom-soo's current situation and future plans as they are revealed for the first time on the show.
