Kian84, a popular South Korean entertainer known as the '6.2 Billion Building Owner,' is once again in the spotlight for his generous donation to an orphanage, which has resurfaced online.

Kian84 shared a video on his YouTube channel 'Life84' in 2025, where he donated to an orphanage. He revealed that he donated a total of 60 million won, giving 1 million won to each of the 60 children.

Accompanied by writer Park Tae-joon, Kian84 visited the orphanage and personally deposited the money into each child's account, allowing them to purchase what they needed.

Reflecting on his past, Kian84 said, “I remember my first donation to a senior living alone 10 years ago. I felt proud of myself then. This time, being with the children, I felt it was one of the best things I've done in my life.”

Kian84's humble beginnings trace back to his days living in a moldy semi-basement.

In 2021, he shared his experience of living in a 'Sangsu-dong semi-basement' on his YouTube channel. Recalling the time he lived with his roommate Lee Mal-nyeon, Kian84 said, “After my brother got married and moved out, I lived alone in the semi-basement. Without sunlight, I felt depressed, and when it rained, mold would grow like crazy.”

He also revealed that the neighborhood where he lived during his college days became the backdrop for his webtoons 'Fashion King' and 'Return King.' Kian84 reminisced, “I struggled to adapt to school, paid 4 million won in tuition but didn’t attend. I worked at construction sites earning 80,000 won a day, and if I worked hard for a month, I made about 1.8 million won. Even after paying 250,000 won in rent, I felt rich.”
