Song Ji-hyo and Jung Woo Set for a Thrilling Race on 'Running Man'
Song Ji-hyo, recently embroiled in a controversy over her limited screen time, is set to join forces with her 'doppelganger' Jung Woo for an exciting race.

On the upcoming episode of SBS's variety show 'Running Man', airing on the 5th at 6:10 PM, the main cast of the film 'Jjangu', including Jung Woo, Jung Soo-jung, and Shin Seung-ho, will make an appearance. The movie, set to release on April 22, is a follow-up to the 2009 hit 'Wind', often referred to as an 'unofficial ten-million movie'. It tells the autobiographical story of Jung Woo, who plays 'Jjangu', an aspiring actor determined to succeed despite numerous setbacks. Jung Soo-jung plays Jjangu's girlfriend 'Min-hee', while Shin Seung-ho takes on the role of Jjangu's friend 'Jang-jae', each adding unique charm to the film.

The episode titled 'Jjang's War: Ladder of Fate' features a nationwide race to select the ultimate 'Jjang' through a ladder game, promising intense mental battles among the members. The ladder's position changes with each mission result, creating a nail-biting psychological game. Jung Woo, making his directorial debut with 'Jjangu', surprises Yoo Jae-suk with his passionate and fearless approach.

In a humorous moment, when Yoo Jae-suk hides a mission item in his pocket, Jung Woo doesn't hesitate to engage in a physical tussle to retrieve it, even reaching unintended areas. Yoo Jae-suk humorously protests, "I feel very uncomfortable right now. That's not a prop," causing laughter on set.

Fans are eagerly anticipating the meeting of Jung Woo and Song Ji-hyo, who were previously rumored to be 'doppelgangers' on social media and online communities. The two, who could easily be mistaken for siblings due to their striking resemblance, also share a fierce competitive spirit, raising expectations for the race. Previously, Song Ji-hyo faced criticism for her minimal screen time on 'Running Man', with some viewers commenting on her lack of enthusiasm and the show's editing choices.
