Tensions Rise on 'I Am SOLO, Love Continues' as Contestants Face Rejections and New Connections

Popular contestant Young-sik from Season 20 expressed his disinterest to Soon-ja from Season 24.

On the October 2nd episode of SBS Plus & ENA's reality show 'I Am SOLO, Love Continues' (also known as 'Solo's Love Continues'), ten experienced singles gathered for a special 'One More Time' edition to get to know each other.

On this episode, Soon-ja from Season 24, dressed up and called Young-sik from Season 20 for a one-on-one conversation. She said, "I need to sort out my feelings, so I want a definite answer," to which Young-sik replied, "I have someone else as my first choice, and there are others I'm curious about," thus rejecting her. Soon-ja accepted the situation, saying, "It's a shame, but I guess it's not meant to be."

Hyun-sook from Season 27 approached Young-ho from Season 18 in the common living room. She boldly stated, "If I have to choose today, I think it would be you." Taken aback, Young-ho responded, "I already promised to go on a date with Soon-ja from Season 25. However, if I win the date ticket, I'll use it for you."

Returning to the women's room, Hyun-sook from Season 27 had a one-on-one chat with Sang-chul from Season 13, who had come to see her. They hit it off with light-hearted conversation. Sang-chul asked, "If we go out for lunch, what would you like to eat?" Hyun-sook replied, "How about grilled ribs?" After their conversation, Sang-chul commented, "Hyun-sook from Season 27 is mentally and physically healthy and proactive, which I like. However, I'm less attracted to her compared to Young-ja from Season 25."

Unaware of this, Hyun-sook returned to the women's room, boasting, "My conversation with Sang-chul from Season 13 was so much fun." Young-ja from Season 25 encouraged them, saying, "Are you going to walk out holding hands with Sang-chul? I'm excited for you." The preview that followed hinted at the rise of Soon-ja from Season 17 and the announcement of simultaneous choice dates, suggesting more tangled romances at the solo guesthouse.
