MBC's New Drama '21st Century Grand Duchess' Unveils Star-Studded OST Lineup

MBC's upcoming Friday-Saturday drama '21st Century Grand Duchess' has revealed its star-studded OST lineup. The drama, which is set to premiere in two weeks, has already topped the TV and OTT drama buzz rankings for the fourth week of March.

Kakao Entertainment announced the OST lineup for '21st Century Grand Duchess,' which will premiere on April 10 at 9:40 PM. The lineup includes a total of 11 artists: RIIZE, BOYNEXTDOOR, BIBI, SAM KIM, So Soo-bin, ALEPH, WOODZ, Lim Jung-won (Son-eul Moa), KiiiKiii, Han Loro, and hrtz wav (Hartz Wave), listed in alphabetical order.

'21st Century Grand Duchess' is set in a constitutional monarchy in 21st-century South Korea. It tells the story of Seong Hee-joo (played by IU), who has everything but is limited by her commoner status, and Grand Prince Ian (played by Byun Woo-seok), who is the king's son but cannot have anything. The romance between these two characters, portrayed by popular actors IU and Byun Woo-seok, has already captured global fans' attention and is ranking high in various buzz indices even before its broadcast.

A representative from Kakao Entertainment stated, "The OST for '21st Century Grand Duchess' focuses on expanding the narrative and emotional lines of the work in a more three-dimensional way. The OST, which blends the individuality and musical colors of each artist, will not only enhance the drama's fun and emotion but also convey the excitement of spring through music alone."

The OST for '21st Century Grand Duchess' will be released sequentially by part.
