Anticipation Builds for 'Yumi's Cells Season 3' with Kim Jae-won's 'Love-Hate Romance' with Kim Go-eun
Scheduled for release on April 13, 'Yumi's Cells Season 3' recently unveiled character stills of Kim Jae-won as Sun-rok, a PD in the Julie Literature Department, who delivers harsh truths with a sweet face.
Returning after four years, 'Yumi's Cells Season 3' follows Yumi (played by Kim Go-eun), now a star writer, as she navigates unexpected encounters that bring laughter, tears, and love into her otherwise uneventful life. The series promises a relatable romance that stimulates the cells, with Kim Go-eun reprising her role as Yumi and the addition of rising star Kim Jae-won. The reunion of director Lee Sang-yeob and writers Song Jae-jung and Kim Kyung-ran further heightens expectations.
The main trailer previously released hints at the 'love-hate romance' as the rare fish 'Angry Fish' appears whenever Yumi, who leads a monotonous life, gets angry due to Sun-rok's presence. The playful romance between Yumi and Sun-rok promises to bring exciting changes.
'Yumi's Cells Season 3' will premiere exclusively on TVING with two episodes every Monday at 6 PM starting April 13, and will air on tvN every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 PM with one episode each day.
