Korean TV Personality Seo Jang-hoon Offers Tough Love Advice on 'Ask Anything'

Korean TV personality Seo Jang-hoon offered some tough love advice.

On the 358th episode of KBS Joy's 'Ask Anything', which aired on the 30th, a 23-year-old woman sought advice regarding her relationship with her 17-year-older divorced boyfriend.

The woman revealed that she first met her current boyfriend through a second-hand trading site while trading ramen. They met in person for the transaction, and the boyfriend expressed interest, leading to their romantic relationship.

The couple has been dating for about four months, but recently, she became suspicious after seeing her boyfriend communicating with another woman. The boyfriend explained that the woman was someone he contacted two or three times a week, but it turned out to be his ex-wife, and she discovered he had an 8-year-old son.

The boyfriend explained that he divorced when his child was three due to his ex-wife's infidelity, and the woman forgave him. However, according to the production team, the boyfriend suggested breaking up after the truth was revealed, but the woman insisted on staying together, surprising the hosts.

The woman shared, "All my friends tell me to break up, but I don't want to," expressing her current dilemma. Seo Jang-hoon pointed out, "The first problem is you," adding, "Rushing into a relationship without time for verification can lead to such issues." He continued, "It doesn't seem likely that he is considering marriage. You need to think realistically and consider that this relationship might end."

Lee Soo-geun also advised, "You should cherish yourself more and find someone better to have a beautiful love with," and concluded the counseling by saying, "Think carefully about why you are troubled."
