MBC's 'Manito Club' Season 3: A Thrilling Gift Exchange and Reunion
In the episode aired on the 29th, Cha Tae-hyun, Park Bo-young, Lee Sun-bin, Hwang Kwang-hee, and Kang Hoon embarked on a secretive mission to deliver 'support' gifts in their unique ways. From recruiting family and citizens to disguises and chases, the show was filled with harmless dopamine and laughter.
Despite being a novice, Cha Tae-hyun added humor with his exceptional variety show skills. He orchestrated a 'fangirl event' for Kang Hoon, recruiting his daughter Tae-eun and her friend as Manito agents to write supportive messages, showcasing his ease. The real-life father-daughter banter, with promises of incentives, brought laughter. Cha Tae-hyun instructed the agents disguised as 'fangirls' to deliver roses and fabric freshener, while he secretly placed a 1g gold card in Kang Hoon's car, completing a perfect undercover operation.
The 'gift masters' took the dopamine levels even higher. Hwang Kwang-hee, leveraging his 'Infinite Challenge' chase experience, boldly approached Manito Lee Sun-bin. Dressed in a 'pea' concept outfit, he delivered a 'bean sprout' and a letter, engaging in a thrilling chase that heightened the tension. He also transformed a car into an impromptu karaoke room for Lee Sun-bin, adding warmth and emotion.
Lee Sun-bin's event for her 8-year friend Park Bo-young was another highlight. Planning a 'pre-birthday party,' she donned a horse costume and transformed into a real part-timer, enhancing immersion from invitation delivery to an epic party, showcasing her 'pro event planner' side. Arriving at the designated location, Park Bo-young was overwhelmed by the balloon flower path, citizen-gathered support, birthday songs, and food, declaring, "They say it's clumsy, but it was a perfect event. I'm the happiest person today."
The first meeting of the 'Manito Club' Season 3 members, finally gathered in one place, heightened expectations. Assembled by train for a 2-night, 3-day workshop in Ulsan, the members were surprised to see each other's faces, exclaiming, "How did we all come together like this?" The reunion of Cha Tae-hyun and Park Bo-young, who played father and daughter in the movie 'Speed Scandal,' Cha Tae-hyun and Kang Hoon, who share a bond through travel shows, and the genuine friendship between Lee Sun-bin and Park Bo-young, created a familial and harmonious atmosphere from the start. However, the joy was short-lived as they continued their high-level deduction game and acting, leaving viewers eagerly anticipating the next journey.
