Director Lee Jae-sang Discusses Challenges in Creating 'Our Happy Good Day'

Director Lee Jae-sang, known for 'Our Happy Good Day', opened up about the challenges faced in the drama production environment.

On the 30th, an online press conference was held for KBS 1TV's new daily drama 'Our Happy Good Day'. The event was attended by actors Yoon Jong-hoon, Uhm Hyun-kyung, Jung Yoon, Yoon Da-young, Kim Hye-ok, Sunwoo Jae-deok, Yoon Da-hoon, Moon Hee-kyung, Lee Sang-sook, Jung Ho-bin, and director Lee Jae-sang.

'Our Happy Good Day' centers around a perfect man and a clumsy woman in a life-and-death showdown, while also telling the stories of various generations striving to be the protagonists of their own lives.

Director Lee Jae-sang stated, "We worked hard to create the best possible work with an unimaginably small budget. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff and actors." He continued, "We made it with great effort in a challenging environment, so we ask for your interest."

He also revealed, "Casting is always a big concern. However, this time it was the best of the best casting. There were hardly any deviations from the top-choice actors we had in mind."

Finally, he emphasized, "The core of this work is 'empathy'. We have incorporated various emotions felt in everyday life into the work. The key point of the drama is to make everyone feel, 'This is my story.'"

'Our Happy Good Day' premieres at 8:30 PM today.
