Actor Bae In-hyuk Reveals 13 Years of Solo Living on 'I Live Alone'
On the October 27th episode of MBC's variety show 'I Live Alone', Bae In-hyuk made a return after four months as the featured guest in the segment 'Introducing My Rainbow Friend'.
In this episode, the segment 'Introducing My Rainbow Friend' featured Bae In-hyuk, with his friend Goo Sung-hwan describing him as "a friend who enjoys a bit of romance. We get along well, and I thought he was a perfect fit for our group."
Bae In-hyuk expressed his excitement, stating that 'I Live Alone' was the variety show he most wanted to appear on since his debut. He shared that he began living independently during his first year of high school when he attended an arts high school, starting in a small room and continuing to live alone for 13 years.
Bae In-hyuk visited his family's rural home in Sunchang, Jeollabuk-do, where he grows vegetables like shepherd's purse and stonecrop in the garden. He was seen picking vegetables himself, even humorously wiping his nose in the process. Later, he treated his hometown friends to dishes made with the freshly picked vegetables and watched a soccer game together.
After observing Bae In-hyuk's lifestyle, fellow cast member Kian84 remarked, "He reminds me of shepherd's purse. If he continues to develop, he could become another superstar," acknowledging his potential.
