Actor and Singer Lee Junho Appointed as Ambassador for '2028 World Design Capital Busan'

Actor and singer Lee Junho has been appointed as the ambassador for '2028 World Design Capital Busan'. Previously, Lee Junho starred alongside actress Kim Min-ha in the tvN drama 'Taepung Sangsa', which concluded last November.

On the 27th, Lee Junho will attend the ambassador appointment ceremony for '2028 World Design Capital Busan' at the Nurimaru APEC House in Haeundae-gu, Busan.

This appointment aims to effectively promote the vision of '2028 World Design Capital Busan' both domestically and internationally through a figure with widespread appeal and global recognition. Lee Junho's endeavors in music, acting, and various global activities that promote K-content worldwide are expected to create a synergistic effect with the values of '2028 World Design Capital Busan'.

Additionally, Lee Junho has consistently practiced the values of inclusion and sharing through his social contribution activities, such as serving as an ambassador for World Vision. Aligning with the direction of '2028 World Design Capital Busan', Lee Junho plans to actively participate in official events and various promotional activities to enhance awareness and empathy.

Upon his appointment as ambassador, Lee Junho expressed, "As an actor, I always contemplate 'how to design a character'. I believe design is the process of creating the way we live and the stories of a city." He added, "I am very honored to join as an ambassador for '2028 World Design Capital Busan'. I will strive to showcase the city's charm and design potential to a wider audience."
