‘I Am SOLO’ Star Young-ja Opens Up About Breakup and Online Harassment

Young-ja from the 30th season of 'I Am SOLO' has opened up about her feelings regarding online harassment.

On the 27th, the YouTube channel 'Chonjang Entertainment TV' released a video titled "Where is the Final Destination of Her Life? Exclusive Interview with 30th Season Young-ja."

In the video, Young-ja revealed the reasons behind her breakup with Young-sik, with whom she became a final couple on 'I Am SOLO.'

She stated, "Nothing matched between us. Our conversation topics and the way we communicated didn't align." She further explained, "I was constantly tense and felt broken inside, which made it feel even more incompatible."

Regarding changes after the show, she confessed, "I became afraid of people." Young-ja shared, "At first, I thought the negative comments were anonymous, but later, people were using their own social media accounts with personal and baby photos to insult me." She admitted, "Realizing that ordinary people on the street could do this made me scared to face people."

Despite the flood of attention and messages after the broadcast, she "rejected all contact." She said, "I didn't accept any contact to avoid spoilers," adding, "I decided to look at everything after the show ended."

Previously, Young-ja appeared on the same channel, drawing attention with her confession about undergoing a cosmetic procedure and her significantly changed appearance. She mentioned, "Many people commented on my 'under-eye fat repositioning,' so I impulsively underwent the procedure two weeks ago."

Meanwhile, Young-ja is currently working at a major construction company in South Korea, overseeing safety and project management at construction sites. During the show, she garnered attention for her pure and innocent appearance, reminiscent of IU.
