Tensions Rise Between Jin Joong-kwon and Hellmouse During 'Betting on Fact' Filming
On the 26th, the production presentation for the new Wavve original survival entertainment show 'Betting on Fact' was broadcast live online. The event was attended by comedian Jang Dong-min, Lee Yong-jin, singer and actress Ye-won, professor Jin Joong-kwon, political YouTuber Hellmouse, broadcaster Jung Young-jin, former People Power Party spokesperson Kang Jeon-ae, former Democratic Party Supreme Council member Park Sung-min, and PD Kim Min-jong.
'Betting on Fact' is a reality news game show where eight participants live in a secluded environment, discerning the truth of news in an era flooded with fake news.
When asked about moments when his beliefs were shaken, Jin Joong-kwon stated, "I've never been shaken, but I felt tempted to shake the beliefs of others." He continued, "The hardest part was not knowing who Hellmouse was, and as soon as I arrived, he publicly criticized me. I felt like I had fallen into a trap, and I couldn't manage my expression," he recalled, adding, "Seeing him confront me directly, I thought, 'Why did I come here?'"
Hellmouse commented, "I gave up my belief in facts. Winning the game is important, so I approached it with the mindset of doing what was necessary. The biggest victims of the production team's schemes are Professor Jin Joong-kwon and myself." To this, Jin Joong-kwon retorted, "You're the perpetrator." Jung Young-jin added, "I wondered if the two of you even had convictions, as you seemed to waver everywhere, and it was hard to watch."
'Betting on Fact' will premiere on the 27th at 11 AM.
